Guys anybody with aor date of 13 feb or before waiting for medicals....

My AOR Date 13 Feb, but i did my medical for other Visa, so they have considered my previous medical, and same status has update in ECAS on dated 22 July but so far no RPRF request :(

I have a general question.. I have come across a lot of people on this forum who did Upfront Medical, But still get a Medical Request at a later date.

My question is.. what do you do in this scenario ? How do you inform CIC about previous medical?

Hi all,
Is any first week of December still waiting for MR?

Application received dev 6th AOR Jan 24th.

No communication since that.

When should I start worry? Now?!

Thx.

For people who have done UFM, but still receiving the MR, the most likely scenario is that CIC couldn't find the upload from the doctor's office attached to the file or UCI number. Hence, the new medicals request is sent out. In most cases, a simple email to CIC mentioning that you had done UFM on so and so date with so and so doctor helps.

I did an upfront medical, (i didn't get an MR) but you will be given a printout at the DR with a UMI number on it. You need to scan this printout and Email it to CPO Ottawa with the rest of your ID details in the email (UCI App number etc),. They will be able to tie this to your application. I honestly believe that doing the upfront medical and paying the PR fee upfront saved me two months of processing time.

Good luck

Saving two months of the processing time is pure speculation. I would say the upfront (whatever medicals, RPRF...) is not speeding up the PR process at all. In some cases those up-fronts made more harm that good. My suggestion for the other applicants would be don't do any up-fronts unless not necessary (like traveling in the time of medicals or so) and wait until you get a request.

seems like your status changed today only. The InProcess is at discretion of VO so not to worry about that. have you paid RPRF??

I am not arguing, all I know is in my case nothing happened until I did up front medical and sent my Fees. I had CoPR 22 days after submitting after no perceived activity for months. This is my experience, it may be co-incidence but it worked for me. I decided to take more control of the process and be interactive instead of passive.

Well. This is CIC. Everything is possible. :P

I haven't paid the RPRF since paying RPRF upfront doesn't seem to speed up the process unlike UME.
