December 2013 Applications

This is freaking me out now. People from January start getting the MR but I am December 20, 2013 applicant and still nothing. I have two applicant on my file. Does that something to do with this delay?

However, to get update from Ottawa, I mailed them and asked for the status on my file on July 1 and they replied me yesterday (July 10).

An excerpt from the email of Ottawa.
"Our office confirms that your application is being processed as per our regulatory timeline. Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization at this moment."

Nothing much information from the email but I am happy they replied and at least I know it is still being processed. Hope for the best.

Hey, I had 2 applicant on the file as well. Me and my spouse. No I hope that the delay is only because of that..

And I see there are more December first weeks applicants who are still waiting or receiving now.. So let's hope next week or the latest end of July we will get ours

There is a guy who is waiting for the PPR for last seven month and when he followed up with CIC then he found his file was stuck because he mentioned only three duties in the Schedule 8 form (because there is space for only to mention three duties).

I also mentioned only three duties (because of the three space) and waiting. Could you confirm how many duties you guys have mentioned in your Schedule 8 form?

Not to mention, but, My reference letter from the employer has all the duties that I perform but seems like CIC does not consider that as your statement because it comes from your employer not you.

Would that cause the delay?

Specially, who got there MR. Please update how many duties you guys had mentioned in your Schedule 8 form?

May be I scare you but your timeline gave me some more hope. Since you have mentioned only one duty and also passed the eligibility criteria and got MR. I hope we all who have mentioned only three or less duties in schedule 8 form would have a chance to pass the eligibility and get the MR. We will see following that.

The application form said that, if you needed extra space use a blank sheet of paper or print the page of the form again and put your information in there. This applies only if you needed the extra space to mention all your job duties. If you wanted to put three duties, then the space would suffice, if more, you can use a blank paper.

That being said, it all depends on the VO processing your case if the provided duties are sufficient, or he/she needs an additional letter of employment to further understand your job.

Can I ask, how many jobs and responsibilities you have mentioned in your schedule 8 form? Only three in the provided space or have attached extra sheet to explain all the jobs responsibilities?
