Based on trackitt, I don't think there are a lot who got rejected in CEC. But there are so many who did not update for long time may be because of denied????

Yeah, I figured that the success rate is pretty high if you've dot all your i's and crossed your T's. It would only be if the NOC cap is full essentially.

My application was received on 23 December.
Now CIC site shows status "In Progress" read as File in progress from 8th July.
No Medical request received yet.
Just wondering everything is going fine and how much time it takes to get MR after the status is changed to "In progress"
Comments will be appreciated..

Please drop a note to CIC asking for status.
Let them know additional documents were shared on specific date.
We have to follow up to see if CIC is waiting for some info or they have already sent us any request.

Hi sandeep one of my friend has same stiuation he is nov applicant his file was in progress for one month cic didnt send any medicals or rprf request and he waited for one month no response from cic then he gave upfront medicals and paid rprf after 15 days he got ppr request directly from cic.

So just give upfront medicals and pay rprf

I believe they are on 1 application only. 1 Prinicipal applicant and another spouse. Have you checked your spam filters etc.. for email from CIC? Also have you done medicals in the last 1 year ? The medicals are good for 1 year.

What you could do is go to a DR from the approved Panel and and them to check your name in the e-medical DB. If they are nice they would be able to tell you if CIC has issued a medical request or not.

you can also request GCSM notes, however they take a month or so.

I have been exchanging emails with CIC constantly. They usually respond after 10 days or so.. dint ask me for any additional documents so far.
