Are you sure about part highlighted in red? Seems some sort of typing error. Do you mind confirming it again?

Not that I am aware of. There was one December applicant who got it. But that was completely, abnormally early.
Wait is getting shorter and tougher !! :'( ;)

My consultant informed me a while ago during a face to face meeting, that although not a certainty, but if you get a medical request, it's pretty safe to assume that you have been accepted. If they don't ask for the MR, then there is most likely an issue. Obviously the results of the MR are taken in to account, but has anyone else heard similar info i.e. Medical Request made, very high chance of getting approved. Any input on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I know this doesn't mean you have BEEN approved, but it's looking pretty good by this stage.

Hi,

I am a Dec 2013 candidate and I had submitted the application without Employment Reference letter as my employer denied to give me one. I just wanted to know do we have any Dec 2013 candidate who is on the same boat?

Have you submitted any other documentation in the place of the reference letter?

Yes, Toby I have submitted a letter from my colleague and also the all the documents that was used by my employer for a Work Permit.

Hi

I do have the same question. I submitted without the employer reference letter. I kept the following docs as Supporting documents as proof:

offer Letter stating roles and responsibilities
Record of employment ( ROE)
T4 copies
Employer letter while applying vis
Pay Stubs

Hopefully we December applicants should get the MR's this week as Nov 28th application also received MR.

But CIC was very slow from past 2-3 weeks. They are just sending 1 or 2 Mr's per week. Hopefully it will speed up this week.
I still can't forget June 2nd that is the day where a lot of RPRF's request received.

One of my colleagues went through the same situation where he was unable to present the Employee Reference letter

He had provided the below Documents for Application and got Approved earlier this year.

1.Record of Employment
2.Pay Stubs
3.T4 Slips from Company
4.A declaration mail in white paper stating that Employer is refusing to provide this letter, Hence Self certifying that he(she) has been working with the company for the last X Years as Designation.

Everything went smoothly- he is now a Permanent resident.

Just heard from one of my friends(I am not sure where he got information from), that since mid May, CIC is more into processing FSWs and hence CECs got into a little delay.

We can hope that they will be back to CEC soon.

What's an FSW?
