Anyone one in the forum whos file got transferred to local CIC office recently? Have you guys checked with CIC call center?
 
We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 13, 2011.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 13, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on May 25, 2012.

We sent you a notice on June 19, 2013 to appear and write the citizenship test on July 03 , 2013 at 1:00 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
Test was on July 11th, 2013.
Oath was on August 20th,2013
Received my Canadian Passport in mail September 04th, 2013. ;D ;D ;D
Local office was Scarborough CIC
 
I called CIC today. They told me that my file was transferred to Calgary Local Office. Because I moved to Mississauga. They will transfer to Mississauga , which will take a few weeks or even a few months. a few months ago , when the file is still in sydney office. a agent told me that since I moved to Mississauga, they will transfer that automatically to Mississauga. However, it doesn't happen. I am a kind of afraid that my file will be lost during the transfer. and it add a few months in my long wait. this is really frustrating

When was the file moved to Calgary? And when they received your application?

Hi all,

I did my test on July 17th 2013, and I passed the test, tell now I didn't receive the letter for oath, my question is: yesterday the citizenship and Imm office called me to ask me some questions because I left my work last year. and asked me a lot of questions, is this normal to call me over the phone? this is the second time calling me in the last 2 months and asking the same questions. any one face same situation?

please advice
