I called the call center. They told me that I received the RQ on Oct 10. And my case will be transfer to Local office. any time soon. I finally join the RQ team at this moment.

RQ sucks. I am wondering, would someone be able to relocate within Canada while on an RQ? Would that delay someone's application even more?

Guess what gentlemen,

I just looked into my mailbox and saw a letter from CIC...Since it was not large I thought it was my wife sponsorship notification. When I opened it, there was a test invitation to Mississauga office on the 23rd of Oct. Man, how can I study the book by then? (ahah joking there).

I am 90% sure that I will get RQ because CIC just hate my gut. Mind you, I have all of sort of proofs and all passports and I get special treatment every time that I cross border. But since I went to school in the US, have a valid US visa in my passport I don't thnik there is a way of avoiding the RQ. But I am ready though...

What special treatment do you get at the border? How often do you cross? This can influence the experience to some extent.

I go to the US like 2-3 times a year since I have been here. The special treatment is just the normal questioning, in secondary inspection.

I will be bringing some of documents just as a back up.

I am in Toronto West...So the test will be in Mississauga. I usually don't go online but I see now that the letter was sent on Oct 12.
