Hi,

As I applied my PR through a lawyer and their address is mentioned as mailing address in my file.

Now while sending my passport I am planning to send envelop for return. So I have a doubt that which return address should I mention, my home address or my lawyer's address.

Thanks for your Information.

In my Email they mentioned -
Final Note
The issuance of your visa(s) cannot be delayed so it is important for you to submit your passport(s) as soon as possible. An expiration date (dd/mm/yy) will be indicated on your visa and/or on your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR – IMM 5688), and you must obtain permanent residence on or before that date. The visas and CoPR cannot be extended. If you are not prepared to live permanently in Canada immediately after your permanent residence is granted, please consult the CIC website regarding your obligations to retain your status in Canada.

So we no ned to submit any form with Passports right

Dear friends, my journey towards PR came to an end today. I completed my landing today at Carway, AB. Thanks to everyone in this forum for helping me achieve this.

This morning we started from Calgary and reached Carway around noon. I stopped at the Duty Free shop before Canadian border and picked 2 lts of liquor which I know I have to pay duty once I enter Canada. The duty free shop delivered the bottles just before the US entrance. Once we reached the US customs, as usual the US CBSA were very rude. The agent asked us to park and come inside. Once we were in, he called as and spelled our names loudly and instead of handling back our passports, he threw them on the table along with the refusal letter. It was so mean. So we went back to Canadian border and the lady at the drive through asked the reason, we mentioned it and she asked us to park and come inside. Also, she asked if I carried liquor etc. I said Yes. she took our passports and wrote some notes.
It was a pretty busy day at Carway, once we entered we had to wait in the waiting room for 45 min as there were more than 25 people waiting for landing. Finally once they called us, we had to sign our COPR and they took our work permits. The agent clearly explained the details and congratulated us on becoming PR. Additionally, he waived the duty on the 2 liquor bottles as a treat for becoming permanent residents. It was a very nice feeling.

My E-Cas now showing as Decision Made and I had received PPR on last Friday.

Respond to ottpilot immediately and request additional time. Clearly quote the processing time for hong log pcc in the email.

You should be fine.

Luckily, they have replied to my email and said there is a mistake in requesting the PCC to be received in one month. They now gave me two months to do it, which is normally enough. :)

Hello everyone,

It is been 2 weeks after our medicals (me and my spouse).
I have received an email today "Ready for Visa letter". Asking to pay us RPRF and send them receipt in an email ;Send them Biodata, passports, photographs via Mail.

Questions:

1. No biodata form attached in email. How should we proceed?
2. How long it takes for passports to be returned to us?
3. We planned to go on our anniversary trip for Christmas holidays (3days) to US. So, we need passports for our journey.

What do you guys suggest? Can we go ahead with our trip and send passports after coming back by December ending?
As it says, we need to send them within 60 days from the date of this letter.

Please confirm.
Thankyou!
