Yup - you are right, data is from q1 only. I was somehow hoping that cic has a lot to accomplish for the rest of the year. I don't know where they stand now.

A friend who applied in feb got MR last week.

I hope our files are not stuck at Review required stage :-[

Waiting for new set of gcms next month.

Anyone received gcms last couple of weeks? Has eligibility started ?

Correct, see my previous post. It's only data from the 1st quarter of 2013.

I have a question about Biodata form, Do I have to include my daughters details in Bio data form, My daughter is a canadian citizen. I dint include her in application, just included her in family details form.

Thanks. My status changed to In Process from Oct 21st. I received my medicals on 16th, did them yesterday.

I am also waiting for the 2nd GCMS mid of the next month.
I got the First GCMS this month starting and they mentioned nothing started yet.

One thing that I cannot understand is how some files received in December are never opened by CIC whereas some files received in Feb / March are already processed until MR stage.

If person apply in Dec. How can he submits latest current year t4(as received in Feb and nno a( as received in march or April) so last year t4 and noa will be good?

You can send the scanned copies after you get it from CRA.
Along with the application, u can attach last year NOA. And this year payslips.

I know. You are right. I still wonder what is going on with my application. they received my application on december 6th and no status change or no MR. Seeing all other december applicants getting PR, i m very tensed. Still waiting for my 1st gcms.

You are not alone, mine was received on 4th December... still no progress, just "application received" not even MR..... Frustrating....

No update for Jan either. I guess cic is working on backlogs from 2012, mainly sept, Oct. Get gcms notes to see what's happening with your file.

My friend applied under FSW2 in August of 2012. Yes I said AUGUST!!

This was a time when the Buffalo office was about to shut down and then the whole pile got sent to Ottawa

He has only just received his and they still have some left.
So it's not just the strict that has slowed it down

FSW2 is completely a different ballgame. I know folks who applied in 2011, still waiting for their PPR.

2013 CEC target is 10,000 - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/notice-levels2013.asp. CIC has always over delivered every year - my guess is that CIC would easily meet the target for 2013, even with current pace.

I'm hoping that the only reason we have not seen many MR, RPRF etc since last couple of weeks is because folks getting MR, RPRF are not in the forum As per news release http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2013/2013-10-28.asp?utm_source=rss-media&utm_medium=rss-eng&utm_campaign=generic, CIC will process backlogs on priority! Hope they keep their word.
