As your Visa Office is in "Ottawa" what does it mean? Did you applied inside Canada?

Yes it is Ottawa but we applied Outland- my husband is from California and we sent all our paperwork to Ottawa and they decided to keep and process his application there.

I got this today from CPP-Ottawa after I e-mailed them to see if they would tell me anything.

Your application is in process in Ottawa. No further action is required by you at this time.
An immigration officer will be in contact with you if any further correspondence is needed.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Lol I know!
But at least I know it's in process right? Even though ECAS still just says app recieved
