I guess it varies from office to office and from a visa officer to another, I had my interview and the next day i got a passport request, so you should be hearing from them in the next couple of days.sabrina907 said:Hello friends!
I wonder if someone can guide me here.
I got a call for interview on 8th May 2013 and the interview went absolutely fine. The Interview Officer advised me that he is 100% satisfied with the relationship and he approves the application. Although at that point in time he didn't keep my passport and informed that security/background check will follow and then I will get an email from them later to bring the passport.
I applied from London office in Sep 2012, however I hold a Pakistani passport and I am in London for studies from last 2 years on student visa. My Husband is in Canada (obviously). I understand that they might have to get security/background checks from London as well as my home country.
I was wondering if someone can tell me how long would that take in my situation??
Thanks in advance if you can reply and help

At least you're at that stage. I'm at the nothing, no news, no changes limbo stage.treefour said:Me too, just waiting for Hong Kong to return the wife's passport....
Sorry to hear that, the stress of it is also getting to my wife, but like you said we are almost finished, so we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Wishing you all the best through the long ridiculous wait.brightredscream said:At least you're at that stage. I'm at the nothing, no news, no changes limbo stage.
The stress is getting to my husband and I and we fight a lot.
Vent... that is what we are here for... to support each other and to lend an ear when someone needs to get stuff off their chest.brightredscream said:At least you're at that stage. I'm at the nothing, no news, no changes limbo stage.
