Hello, we waiting for Stage 2 AOR from ND Visa Office and want to know the following:-

1. Does NDVO generate a new UCI or e-CAS id (for the Principal Applicant) for tracking the PR application once they start processing it?

2. I assume if it does, this information will be sent along with AOR from NDVO. Is that correct?

3. Right now I am accessing the status of Sponsorship application through eCAS using my (Sponsor's) UCI , Surname & Date of Birth? Also, my spouse didn't have a last-name on her passport; so while accessing the application status I get "Null FirstName" as her name on the eCAS. In this case when my wife gets a new UCI/eCAS ID, what should be used as her last name while accessing the PR application using her UCI or e-CAS id ? will that be "NULL" ?

Eagerly awaiting a response.
Thanks

Hi All,

I URGENTLY need some advise on my wife's spousal sponsorship application!

We recently got a PPR request from NDVO (new Delhi visa office) and we are going to submit the passport soon. We just realized today that our Police Clearance at the time of Application Submission was 4 Months old. Although the VISA office has not asked us to re-submit the Police Clearance Certificate, we are concerned that they may. We feel so because:-

1. There is a rule on CIC website, which says that Police Clearance at the time of Application Submission should not be more than 3 months old.

2. Please note that Police Clearance certificate we submitted explicitly stated that its Valid for 6 months from the date of Issue. It was issued on 31-Aug-2012 so technically it expired on 28-Feb-2013. Our application processing started on 31-Dec-2012

The whole police clearance thing in India is a relatively long affair; so a part of me says that for now I just submit the passport and take a chance on Police Clearance. A part of me says that I send the Renewed Police Clearance (if possible soon with the passport) or later.

Anyone faced similar dilemma? Please advise.

Thanks,
hm82

Hi everyone!
Please I need your help guys.
How did you organize your application before sending it?
All my pictures like wedding and reception photos, old and new photos and our conversation, i attached them with the Form 5490 (spouse questionaire). Do i need to provide another photos, or any additional details as proof of our relationship? Coz i dont have any idea what else i need to be added. Thank you. Please.

Well we all have different ways of organizing our application, but speaking on my experience and what i did in our application is that i included pictures in form where they asked for evidences in specific questions, then also put pictures and explanations in proof of relationship.
to make it easier for you to understand
in form - i put pictures specifically of us (ex. "wedding" couple pics of us mostly)
in proof of relationship - pictures of us and the people around us, friends, relatives, families, etc (ex. "wedding" us with the attendees)

Hope it helps, its really a stressful stage when organizing and filing up forms.
Again we have different ways of doing it, so its up to you what you'll do, if you're confident about your relationship with your spouse, i don't see any problem. Have a good day

If you have already submitted Police Clearance when you send them your original file. You don't need to resend them again. Just make a cover letter and write it down all the information including your UCI# and other details and mention in your letter that you have already submitted, that should work fine.. If not you can resend them the copy with your cover letter.
Hope this helps you!

Patiently awaiting either a PPR or Stage 2 AOR from CPPO. I hope things are going well for everyone!

Yeah, thats what I've gotten out of searching the forums.. ECAS shows that my app was received the same day as sponsorship app and medical results received. Which based upon how (un)reliable ECAS is.. i shouldnt get an AOR. but who knows ::)
