Good to hear that it's working! and the update that you see - that's about it! not much else gets added, that's why people say it's not very reliable...MadeInCanada said:I checked ecase last night at my husbands request(he cannot access it) I haven't been really checking as I was under the impression it is not really reliable due to not being updated....that and we are just in the beginning of things...
It is totally up to date with everything so far though! It says stage one "decision made", and then clicking on the received application xx for the second stage there is now added "medicals received".
Also, before today it would not let me log in using my husbands information and the application number and that is totally working now too!
I still don't know where our file will be transferred to though... I did call and was told by the agent that the file will go to Cairo, that only special cases get sent to Ottawa...but I have been told by a few here it will go to Ottawa confused girl here
Oh and according the ecase we were approved(to sponsor) the 23rd not sure if it is a big deal but the spread sheet says the 18th.
25 days is nothing for stage 2 - so sit back and relax, if you get antsy after 25 days you won't survive the whole trip! ;-)lucky4canada said:Nothing new from the time I have recd my Sponsorship Approval. It's almost 25 days now......endless wait from my Visa Office
It's normal not to have an answer for an application arrived end of December, no worries! I don't think they will send the whole thing back because of no notarized letter. They mostly send everything back when there is a form missing etc... but not for that.katzenbaum said:I mailed our outland application on Dec. 20th to CIC and checked on the US postal registration tracking page and see they received it Dec. 27th. However, I still have no response of any kind (email or snail mail) acknowledging receipt, so no idea there.
I am really hoping they do not send the whole thing back rejected, as we had no idea that a statutory declaration meant a notarized declaration, and we did not have any of our declaration letters from friends & family notarized.
Mine also changed on the 25th saying a decision has been made on the 23rd and a letter has been sent. my wife's medical also changed to received. I have no idea what the decision is though as I haven't got an email, so they must have sent it via snail mail. The waiting is killing me though, wish they would have sent an email (like all the other correspondence so farMadeInCanada said:I checked ecase last night at my husbands request(he cannot access it) I haven't been really checking as I was under the impression it is not really reliable due to not being updated....that and we are just in the beginning of things...
