Got a letter on 1 January 2013 saying it was received and had our client number
Sponsor approved on 9 January.

Application sent to Missisauga: 27 December from Taiwan. Getting a little worried as I haven't got an email from CIC and if I check ecas they don't show any record of me, hope there is no problem.

I wouldn't worry. Not everyone gets an email from CIC or AOR. And some don't get it until their approved. Just be patient. I could not access e-cas for over a month, and it worked out for me!

I really hope I am kept busy with updating this sheet. Its been slow.

Sure put me on the spreadsheet. The Medical was done Dec.18, I have no idea when Mississauga received it though as I haven't been notified of anything yet, that's what was making me a bit nervous. I suppose I could go to the post office and check when it was signed for, but I'm trying not to think too much about as it just stresses me out.

@ Ms Malawi thanks for the info, I just started reading this forum again to see if my situation was normal, and then started seeing a lot of people getting responses from CIC and it just sort of set me off that something wasn't right. :

U can trak your file through tracking number which was given to u in post office. moreover don't worry not to receive AOR yet. if u u tell us what day exactly u sent your application, it would be estimated when it was arrived in Mississauga.

Yeah i know I can track it through the post office. I'm just trying not to focus too much on it right now, as it stresses me out. I'll probably give it another week before I start tracking it that way. My application was sent to Mississauga from Taiwan on Dec. 27th. Is there any other info needed to be put on the spreadsheet?

treefour you have been added. As I understand you sent it from Taiwan, so its very likely your application wasnt received until January. Anyways I have added you at the bottom for now.
