No - the medicals is only valid for 12 months. However, if the VO is finalising your application and ONLY the medicals is a problem ( because it will expire very soon), then it can be extended ( rather than ask the person to do another medical for only a few weeks/months missing). BUT - it's at the discretion of the visa officer, and if anything else is not finalised in the application, then it won't work. Plus the medicals can not be more than 15 months old anyway. And it needs to be a "normal medical" - if there were some medical issues detected during the first medical, then it can not be extended.brightredscream said:So the medical is actually valid for 15 months?
