Spreadsheet looks great. Fingers crossed for everyone this week. I've started checking our status online. I knew I would succumb. I assume it only becomes trackable from AOR date onwards? I'm just using receipt number and sponsor's details at the moment. Just a bit antsy what with the parcel losing its label, ending up in the wrong country, being opened and then being delivered a different weight to what I know it was.

Can you log in with just receipt number and sponsor's details? it used not to be the case, but if it works for you, that's great! but yes - it only really starts working after AOR or approval ( and it takes sometimes a few days to be able to log in and see anything), so there's not much to see for the moment.
I'm sure your package made it OK to CIC, and it's just waiting in line to be opened... which should be soon !

Ok thanks that is good to hear... I can't think why anything would be wrong - Yes I am in Canada. Maybe i'll receive something in the mail this week. I did check my email and didn't see anything even in junk so I started to worry, but I feel better after reading this .

you can stalk the mailman for a bit, and then go back to checking ecas after that! it should take a few days for the letter to arrive, but it doesn't matter (apart from putting your mind to rest for a little) as your file goes to the VO whether you receive the letter or not... the only case where you really need it is if you are residing in Quebec as you need the letter to apply for a CSQ (extra step for Quebec residents), but other than that, not really needed.

How on earth that they r still working on 7 november application when i got letter for my app which was sent on NOv 15 and they processed it on 11 december?

Because there is a stack or November applicatants who haven't heard anything yet. So count your blessings

Hey all!

Can someone please volunteer to keep the spreadsheet updated? It's not difficult ( the spreadsheet calculates everything by itself, you only need to put the dates in!), and I promise that both fromadistance and myself will be there for backup if needed! but I can't keep on updating it forever - I'm an April applicant and I already have my PR, so I stop by here from time to time, and can always answer questions...

Congrats on the fast stage 1, which VO are you going through ? if you also can give the date for your medicals then your profile will be complete on the spreadsheet.
