With all due respect, I don't understand why this is such an issue? Manila VO processes other apps not only for Filipino applicants but for neighboring islands as well and on their thread they are free to speak in Tagalog. So what is the big deal?

Peace! :D

You can speak any language you want, but if there is any helpful information, we would love for you guys to speak in English, so people reading this thread can understand- and it may help them too. Over at the New Delhi thread, we speak in Hindi or Punjabi sometimes- just when talking in nonsense, but then when it comes to any immigration topic or a post that would help others, it's always in English

Thank you

@mistletoes and @mehidir!!!!

Still sat waiting like some others here but I feel we are close!!
In the meantime I have a question!
I actually got my medical done last April however certain circumstances meant I couldn't send my application until December. So my medical will more than likely expire before I get PR. And I have heard that them requesting a new medical from you can delay application by a few months.

Should I get a new medical done and once my application has first stage approval (and I have received a UCI number) send them my new medical therefore they wouldn't need to request one and could save me a few months?
I'm sure this has happened tO others over the years so I'm thinking this is what they did.

I am no expert here cobra.. however while I was in the clinic for my medical last year I heard a family saying that they are there to repeat their medicals because it will expire in couple of months.. They are doing so to avoid further delays in their applications processing time. Anyway the results will be sent by the affiliated hospital or clinics to the V.O so there really is no problem if you will have yours repeated before they even send you a request to do so, That is just my own point of view.. I am open for any corrections.. :)

I'm no expert either but from my own experience , and since I 'm in the same situation as you, I would get the medical done just about now,

I did my medical in MAY as well and my application is filed in DEC.
