Today I got bad news my husband got refused his schengen visa for our honeymoon to greece . So the honeymoon is ruined. This really put me down and this stupid wait time for canadian visa is even more frustrating. All this is so depressing....

wow.... that sucks.... dont worry dear nagz, who knows maybe a honeymoon will be to mexico in july keep your hopes up , knock on wood the embassy has been great lately, i think they want to go on vacation so they are processing files faster lol

It happen for all of us i just wanted to get a schengen visa too and i have an appointment on 5th june but i don't know what to do because they hold my passport for 2 weeks and if during this time passport request or second medical request happen ..................full of sh....... this damn process.
oh god enough of us.

hopefully you wont even make it to that interview since your PPR will be ready you know its any day for you sarah jan

i just had an interesting conversation with the MP of my area, he actually talked to me on the phone for like 15 mins lol, he explained alot, apparently they get 120 cases a month about people complaining and wanting to know whats going on, what was really interesting for me was the fact that they only ask you to renew the medical because you have to have a valid medical when you enter canada, basically he gave me this example, if your file is DONE on june 5th and they want to issue the visa, BUT your medical is only vali till june 11, they will ask for a new medical before they give you the visa because there isnt enough time for the person to leave and enter a canadian border, i used to think it was important because of health issues, but he said CANADA CANNOT REFUSE A SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP FOR MEDICAL REASONS, so if they ask you to renew your medical it means your PPR is ready to go

Another fun fact i got from the Mp, it takes 2 - 3 months to process a file for sponsorship, the rest your file is just sitting in the office! he said 90 % of the processing takes place towards the end of the waiting time, so basically if they have your file under review it doesnt take long at all, the long part is waiting for the file to be reviewed... sigh....

you give me energy,it was something i need,i'm so tired worried embaressed and everything negative you can imagine, hope for good days.

for poeple who are waitnig for RQ , dont't worry and don't hurry for it because i send it by e-mail from iran and with regular e-mail they got it after 2 weeks .
after RQ they have enough time to review and it doesn't matter when they are received it doesn't affetc on processing time.

dear ped,my medical will expire in 27th of june and since now i didn't received any e-mail to redo it.
yesterday i send them an inquiry and i'm waiting for their response.

i wish they knew how hard this situation is for us.

Dear Sara,hopefuly second medical exam wont be needed, just send an email and let them know when your medical exam will be expired and hopefuly you will get the result. i received an emial from them two days before my medical expiration.

Hey guys I've been reading here that you sent your RQ to Damascus by email. I sent it via post .Should I worry?Since it was like 6 months ago I think it's pointless to send it by email once again.what do you think?

everyone sent by mail..don`t worry it is right way....if u sent it by tnt ot dhl u can track it...

i dont know if you guys noticed question 6 in the RQ, i was just reading it and i realized its so easy to misunderstand it and answer it wrong, they should use simpler terms to not confuse people, i mean factual resident, come on, there arent many factual residents who are sponsors as well.
