Yes, there's no difference between processing times for PR's and citizens. The only difference is that a PR should reside in Canada during the process while the citizen can sponsor his/her spouse from outside Canada.NH said:there is no difference between PR and citizens the only difference is that a peson who is Pr has to prove that they reside in Canada while a citizen out side of canada still can sponsor their family memeber. also i think a Pr cannot leave canada during the sponsorship process but a citizen can. in terms of the processing time there is no difference between the two.
as we all know email is the best way to send it, but some people do it both ways just to be sure,Full_of_hope said:Folks, I am quite confused!! What is the best way to send the Doc RQ ? By email? or post mail ? Is there anyone has a Microsoft word file for the request? I would appreciate if someone sends it to me by email my email w_flavien at hotmail.com
i just sent it to you , no worries, yeah i wanted to see the format to see if its possible to fill it on the pc instead of printing and scanning !Full_of_hope said:Sohrab Could you send me the word Doc file ? I saw you have been looking for it too.
Thanks in advance.
dear Nh , i had one question to ask you, when your husband emailed it to them did they email you to say they received it?NH said:Dear Sohrab,
I sent the signed RQ it to my husband in Canada by DHL he scanned and emailed it to the embassy last 3 weeks. when they relied to our email they didnt mentioned that you sould post it or some thing.
oh ok thanks for your help, that sounds like a good of doing it, no i have not yet gotten the RQ but soon hopefullyNH said:By the way sohrab have you recieved the RQ
hahaha aziz dont worry it will never change , they dont update it whatsoever, people get their ppr and it still stays APPLICATION received , so dont worry about it, e case is pretty much useless from the date your file arrives in Damascusvivi2 said:Hey everyone!
Ok so our file has been in damascus for 3 weeks now, and is it usual that my e-cas shows just "application received" in damascus, and no "in process" yet?
Thanks!
