Caips is the computer immigration system. All work done on the immigration file is recorded here. As a canadian you have the right to order it from the government to see what is happening. Most people say order it only if you have an interview.

My Husband went to Damascus, he said they were very friendly and due to the medical expiry date they issue him the visa the same day.I'm still waiting .....
Wish you all the best, I know how hard it's to be far from each other but it seems Damascus is wrapping up the cases faster than before.Hopefully you will all be with your love ones very soon.

I want to reveal a mystery of mine...During that killing wait time, you were the only relief for me on top of the list. I was always thinking that I'm not alone in this abnormal processing time, I'm preceded by Jalal for a minimum of 1 week!
Now everything's done for both of us.

and my advice for everyone in this forum is: Please be patient and don't lose your hope. Your file will be finalized and you get your passport request in a time that's shorter than mine and Jalal's! Just don't worry, be happy and take it easy!

thanx for ur hope...waiting is difficult especially for whom who have to take an exam when they come to canada...so they have to study...more faster their procees more time have for study
