woa that's hectic! why not Toronto to Istanbul with Turkish? You probably get a cheaper ticket for Istanbul to Ankara since ur get two tix from them

Oh no! I checked and THY rates are WAY much higher than KLM's (I bought mine during a 48-hour sale)! Also, travelling from Ottawa to Toronto by Air Canada is not cheap and far from being convenient. I much prefer sit in a (free) bus for 2 hours and relax than having to lose time at Ottawa airport for going West when I am actually travelling East.

Seriously, domestic THY flights are very cheap compared to what we have to pay with Air Canada here.

I see. Well for THY you need to buy ur ticket in advance. I got mine months ago for Iran and it was below 1000.
Yea Air Canada prices are ridiculous. Bunch of times I wanted to go to Vancouver but the priced changed my mind! lol

Don't forget I also have to travel from Ottawa to Toronto, so it's always at least 200$ extra for me. I got my last Ottawa-Istanbul ticket from KLM for 829$. And there's no need for me to travel to Toronto then!

Dear hbehmane thanks for your reply, my point is may be it takes longer for those people that have traveled more often outside of Iran, so to clear their security check VO has to do more, this is just a thought , my wife has been in Iraq twice to go to Imam Hossayn shrine , and i was thinking because of the chaos in Iraq it might take longer ,I am not sure how they do the back ground check anyway, thank you

i heard the same thing and my wife has traveled a lot to she had same problem and she traveled to Iraq 2 times and she also traveled to Souadi Dubai, turki Russia and all other country that they have problem with ;D ;D
i think thats why it take more than usual for us :d
