There's an update in my case! My husband is required to go for an interview on February 4th! We were expecting it as there are many differences between us (culture, age, education), but we are ready.

Nothing new in eCase. Even worse: they didn't let me know he has an interview (I am also his representative). It's like they wanted to make sure we communicate with each other! That's almost insulting...

Guzeloyol with this process keep in mind that its not personal...these are precautions they need to take to illiminate their doubts as immigration officers...just b glad that u are one step closer to being reunited with ur hubby

I was insulted by some of the questions I had to answer when I was filling the application!! But they gotta do their job ... immigration scam is a big and serious thing...
I know how you feel tho. just be patient for a few more months ... when ur husband arrives here no one will insult you two and if anyone does that you can sue their butt

Good you heard something at last. Now I'm almost sure they don't change to in process until they pass eligibility. My case was processed too, but not yet passed I suppose, and still application received.

I think he is just like other men
he has job, money ( as much as he can have a good life, not perfect, but very acceptable) and everything. He is musician.
he know when he come here he should starts from nothing ... and that's hard for him ... and it's not matter how much i told him you have me and my family ... our situation is much better than people who come here alone . if you work here as much as you work in Iran, you have a better life here... and .. and .. i know his problems, and his thoughts ... and I'm too worried for the future ... but lets don't lose hope

It will not be that easy because he's still missing a police certificate from Afghanistan (a long story). CIC won't change their mind: he has to do everything to get an official document from Afghanistan, be it a police certificate or a document explaining why he can't get it, but he needs something. Unfortunately, he can't get anything from the Afghan consulate in Istanbul...
