No he's not Iranian. Also I didn't say he went to check other people's files or anything!!! so guys don't make a drama out of it. It's too simple: Ankara is dealing with high volume of applicants. I don't think there's anything important or too special here that my lawyer needs to lie about.

well the fact that Ankara VO is very busy is nothing new. The part that I think he made up is when he said they are disorganized. How did he come to that conclusion? you have see something like the way files are handled to come up with that...

Why they don't issue any visa, How come nobody in this forum got ppr for almost last two months. I am sure there are many who are just silent readers. We are not only a few people. These thought are killing me. If this continues until April what can we do. This is cruel. This is inhumane..... Anybody of you guys knows a student who is going to pick up his/her visa from Ankara? I wish we could ask them to see if there is any sponsored person there (come to pick up his/her visa).

There is page in Facebook, which is for a Iranian lawyer for immigration, last week i post a comment on her page to tell me if her clients in sponsorship applicants get visa recently.. she just answer me today that No, from last month none of my clients get visa :l
I have a question .. the visa is valid until the medical date ? I mean if I get my visa today it's valid until April ( my medical) and if I get the visa March, its valid until April too ??? so what happen If I can not land in Canada until April ?
i see some medicals are extended, why is that ? i don't know this issue , my husband can not home here until summer, so if if if we get ppr until then, what happen (((( everything is going to be worse and worse
and i am the person who told him usually the visa has 6=8 months validation, so now i cant tell him i'm wrong

If yr visa isn't ready by then, they would ask Paris to extend the medical automatically, on the other hand if PPR gets ready until around the time it expires, then In most cases they( VO ) call the applicant and ask them whether he/she could immigrate before it is expired or not. then obviously if the applicant isn't ready to leave , the process is delayed a bit more ( they either ask for re-medical or extend it and then PPR u)
so nothing much to worry there

Sheyda joon your visa validity depends on 2 facts: 1. your medical expiration 2. your passport expiration
for the second case as u know ur allowed to travel if u've got at least 6months of passport validity, so if u get the visa when u have 8 months of pass validity n u wanna immigrate after 4months then u can apply for a new passport n take the old one with urself which is holding the visa to the airport n the whole journey.

there are many students picking up their visa these days as well as tourists n some skilled workers visas. i don't know them in person n this is what i have found out on applyabroad forum.

Don't worry you should be patient during the whole immigration process. u'll turn to in process soon n then start counting the days n asking well guys how long does it take to get ppr after in process! i know someone else worrying about turning to in process n who even wanted 2 send some more documents to them again n meanwhile she turned to in process.

And the irony is that they insist on priority of spousal class over other categories, what a joke!

This is Not fair, if they only knew what kind of pain we are going through they wouldn't process all those non family class Visas before us. After all it is all about the money, those students bring tons of cash with them and they love it.

checked eCase today after 2 months.

So after having my file in Ankara for 7 months, and 9 months since initial application, my status says Application Received. Hate those lazy officers
