Damascus/Spousal since Jan 2010 or late 2009

is that just for spousal? or is it for any pr visa??? cuz if its for any kinda pr visa...there are lots of people from lots of nationalities getting pprd everyday......so i guess we still need to wait?

According to http://www.cic.gc.ca/francais/ministere/pni/non-economique.asp the quote for 2012 spouse category in Ankara is 920 (updated July 2012, after Damascus VO closure). It means on average each week they should issue 19 ppr !!! Now the question is why we can't see this. there are two possibilities:

1- We are only a few out of many
2- They are well behind the quote

What do you think guys?

another possibility could be that we may only be a handful of applicants who come on this forum, the rest may be out there and may be getting their pprs but we dont hear anything... I know a friend of mine who has sponsored a spouse had never heard of this forum until i mentioned it but has still not joined... so i guess lots of people like that???....but hopefully they will finish up for the year before december and make all families happy

khob,,man kam kam az in yek chizaee sar dar avordam...safheye akhare yek note gozashteh ke officer is satisfied that our relationship is geniune..which is a good news...the medical is exoired,,,but in the last page it says "Med-Ext Med Rqsted-Paris" and then in the next paragraph it says: App. Statues: Open/ Location: Med-Pending Meds Only"

I am a bit confused...are they themselves requesting for extension from Paris or from us, bc we haven't received any email....

Shall I contact them?

Maybe they just want to confirm with Paris if they can extend your medical or they should request another one from you! Don't worry, hopefully they'll extend it. Anything about security or background check?

wow i think you have better stop worrying since your app is pending only bc of d medical extension n then 4 sure u will get d ppr
