I don't know his time line but i know he waited about 15 month
please save your hope

it seems Ankara is clearing backlog!

I applied as well i live in Canada i am sponsoring my husband in iran thats why i asked... to iran 2 bar karesho avaz karde ...bayad beheshon goft ya na?? i know for me its ok...

as slm.tbt mentioned d date of confirming relationship n PC is d same day his status changed to In Process! so i think it means in some cases they change d status after passing these steps! i hope ke injuri bashe
Alish i'm d applicant n after submitting my application i have changed my job but i think there is no need to inform them since d applicant's job is not their concern in family class.

you get his client number from the approval email saying u have been approved as a sponsor...uve been approved right?

lol i never got an aor so i called them and yes i did get approved but that letter never got to me either and i called them up and they said they cant re-send the letter but that i have been approved thats all i need to know...so i can access ecas with my own client id and i am already in process.. so thats good to know but i never got that letter... the agent at cic said that i would get his client id or file number from my VO...???

so u never recieved the email? seriouslY???? wow...good work on part of cic...so im not sure...its really hard to contact ankara so im not sure how u can go abou doing this...but cic should be able to give u his client id number...cuz if you put urs down all the info in regards to ur application will be sent to you for when u were applying for your PR...so i think u need to somehow get a hold of his number

So as some of you know I'm sponsoring under Conjugal Partnership. I'm thinking to get married, not under Iranian Law, since it's impossible. Basically we need to go to a country that is not our own, like Turkey or elsewhere, but since I'm not able to travel now, do you know if anywhere in Canada performs marriage while the partner is not present. You know like Ezdevaj Ghiyabi that we have in Iran for special cases... Is there such thing in Canada, or maybe States? I've been researching a lot but couldn't find whether Canada does this or no. Any thought would help. I need to do this within a month so it's very essential. Thank you.

I think it is called marriage by proxy. I am not sure about legality in Canada, though I've heard some people have done it.

but during last 3 weeks nothing happened.

i just called cic again and explained my situation, because my husband is not living in canada i can use my own client id for him i would get his info.. but i also got my file number from them and my husbands ecas works now too
