im thinking i book flight ticket 4 my wife from Ankara/Istanbul to Toronto, since people flying from there 2 here should pay as the $ value and this is really expensive 4 them.

Do not go to the agencies, some of them are taking advantage of this situation. go to the airline itself. Usually the exchange rate that they have on the system is the official rate (or very close to that) so the price is not very affected by the dollar fluctuations.

Some agencies tell you the price in US dollar and then either tell you to bring dollar or they convert it based on the market exchange rate. So they make double the money they should. Many people dont know this and fall in this trap.

Until few months ago I used to buy all my tickets from Tehran (because of difference in exchange rates) even though that I do not live in Iran and my travel plans did not include any trip to Tehran, but it's not possible now because of the sanctions. Airlines can only sell you the tickets that starts from Tehran.

anyway this might have changed now but I doubt it. Word of advice, in Iran do not go to the middle man, it's better to go the source directly.

Thay are some companies that they will do, but as you and other friends told to not trust others then the father of my wife will go there to pick up the visa. I think this way is allitle bit expensive but better.I think only she should sign the letter and give to hime with photo and one paper of height and colour of eyes.??? am I right?
