Here are his words......
Who can we call? Are you alone in this matter, or are there thousand of files in the same situation? Please be realistic, even if you are frustrated.

the Ministry of Immigration announced last week that they closed the section in Damascus and that they opened full processing section in Beirut starting February 1. The embassy in Beirut is now going to process the files for the Middle East and Iran. Consequently, your file was transferred to Beirut. It will take one month for the physical file to reach Beirut. It is a situation that concerns a few thousand files (perhaps over 10,000 applications).

well that doesnt make any sense because ALL files from iran are in ankara, i dont know where beirut came from,

In javabe emaili hast ke be Ankara dadeh boodam!!!!

Due to the closure of the Visa Section of the Canadian Embassy in Damascus, active Permanent Residence applications have been transferred as outlined below:
Citizens and Residents of Iran
· All Permanent Resident applications have been transferred to Ankara, Turkey.
Citizens and Residents of Cyprus, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria
· Federal Skilled Worker and Federal Business Immigration Categories – All applications have been transferred to Ankara.
· Quebec, Provincial Nominee, and Family Class Sponsorship categories – Applications have been transferred to the following offices:
o Amman – Jordan, Syria, Iraq
o Beirut – Lebanon
o Tel Aviv – Cyprus
Please do not contact any visa office at this time to enquire about the status or location of your application. You should contact the appropriate visa office only if you wish to withdraw your application, or to change your contact information such as e-mail, telephone number, or address.
The visa office processing your application will contact you when they require further information from you, or are ready to provide you further instructions.
Please do not send additional documents to a visa office unless you have been specifically instructed to do so. Any document or e-mail you may have sent to Damascus will be forwarded to the correct office. Please do not send messages more than once, or to more than one visa office.

Please note that the processing time for sponsorship applications for spouses and children is currently about fourteen months.

Sincerely,
Immigration Section

hi everyone!!!!!!
We just got ANOTHER email from Ankara!!! ;D ;D They sent us one on Feb. 9 in response to one we sent Damascus on Jan 13. It was the standard letter saying our file was transferred there. We didn't even email them this time.... they sent an email to our lawyer today to let them know they received our second medical results. My husband redid his medical mid January and put Damascus as the VO and no file number since we didn't have it.... so it seems the medical gets there anyway (Vivi no worries about no file number ;D)
I am loving this new VO... they r working ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yeh it seems that Ankara is the best till now...we're hearing nothing from Beirut VO. This makes me down a bit :(

So that is good A+M.
Maybe it means that we have to expect good news from them if they are so kind and inform the applicant about the receiving of his/er medical report. Really good.
What about your e case? Is there any change?
