I think for every happening there is a reason.....obviously we r saying that those who r applying for their spouses now r really lucky and we all suffered a lot for such a long waiting.....believe me there was a reason that we tolerated all this pain....it's almost done.....niagara Falls we r coming!
sure it is. why do u think the processing time of damascus for sponsorship program has changed from 13 months to 14? it is strange coz the visa office is closed !! by the way I think the update of damas from 13 months to 14 months means that u guys who are waiting for almost 13 months, r going to get finalizing good news in one month.

I'm in the same mood as u today Ayad! I havent seen my husband for almost 15 months and my heart hurts today... and I was so excited about Ankara yesterday but now I am thinking all current files are all together at a new VO (Lebanon?) and will take 14 mths and the new VO distribution is for NEW files only .... I wish they would make things clear:( I just want my husband and my kids to have their Baba back! Please God hears our pleas.... bring us all back together with our loved ones....

well this sucks not knowing whats going on again they dont even have lebana on the processing list for how many months it could take and we cant do anything about it sad

dear ayad .. i couldn't english version ..totally i will explain for you..dr.mokhtari says in the link

we should wait for receiving call or email or mail by post from new office.. if we have question or any request for our application, we have to

send email to damascus , and then they forward our request for new office. if we wanna change mailing address or email address or cancel our application we can contact to new office. otherwise except these subjects we should not contact to damascus and we must wait for news of new office.

There is nothing new in the posted link, it's pretty much all the information have been posted on their websites (I can't send links but it's posted by other here):

As per links above the applications have been transferred already to the responsible office (depending on your nationality).

if they r transferred already to new office why update Damascus? this is such an emotional rollercoaster! just have to keep telling myself everything for a reason;)

well that sucks fukin government so we wait well i think everyone know that, and sooner or later people are going to end up suicide and once that happen i think they will start changin the rules like 15 months u can bring someone to work for you skill worker faster then that.. so we wait again an again again for what what if they say to those that have been waiting 3 or 7 months that its a new vo it starts over u have to wait all over again.. it is the embassy they can do what ever they want so i dont know..

Amman.

Applicants in…
Syria, Jordan and Iraq : Visa Office in Amman (Jordan)
Lebanon Visa Office in Beirut (Lebanon)
Cyprus Visa Office in Tel Aviv (Israel)
Iran Visa Office in Ankara (Turkey)

Why is everyone mentioning Ankara? After reading the statement about the Syria office being closed on the CIC website, I called CIC in Canada (I'm currently visiting my spouse in Toronto while my application is being processed) that's why I was able to call the inland number. They told me that Jordan is responsible for processing our files now. There was no mention of Ankara Turkey? So I'm confused as to why it is being mentioned here. Mississauga sent us a letter notifying us that they started processing my file on the 30th of September 2011 and my husband was eligible to sponsor me and that my application was forwarded to Syria. Now, has anyone else received this letter only to find out that their file is still in Mississauga? Any feedback regarding this situation would be most appreciated. I don't know how to find out if they really did send my file to Syria. It's worrying me that others found out their file is still in Mississauga. Just curious, has anyone talked to the visa office in Jordan?
