See the chart here:cyprustocanada said:Why is everyone mentioning Ankara? After reading the statement about the Syria office being closed on the CIC website, I called CIC in Canada (I'm currently visiting my spouse in Toronto while my application is being processed) that's why I was able to call the inland number. They told me that Jordan is responsible for processing our files now. There was no mention of Ankara Turkey? So I'm confused as to why it is being mentioned here. Mississauga sent us a letter notifying us that they started processing my file on the 30th of September 2011 and my husband was eligible to sponsor me and that my application was forwarded to Syria. Now, has anyone else received this letter only to find out that their file is still in Mississauga? Any feedback regarding this situation would be most appreciated. I don't know how to find out if they really did send my file to Syria. It's worrying me that others found out their file is still in Mississauga. Just curious, has anyone talked to the visa office in Jordan?
