Oh no, I meant we haven't received any official news about this yet. I'm not talking about Farid or anyone else because of course they have heard the news themselves directly from Damascus and it does make it more conclusive of course, I'm talking about the phone lady! I mean usually news isn't considered official unless it's received in writing, in a letter or an email. So even if I talked with the phone lady myself I would still consider the news unofficial, and that's why she has told others that they are planning to send emails and letters to everyone, that's the official and 100% conclusive thing i'm talking about which eliminates my "if"s! :)

Yea, I agree with you on that. I guess time will tell.

Hi All

I'm very sorry I have not been writing! Just been busy lately, but 7amdillah our process is over! The embassy in Syria called my husband today and asked him to send his passport and two photos to the embassy here in Beirut. They said they will stamp the visa in the Beirut office and to come get it on Monday...which I was confused about but I guess the situation in Syria is getting worse. Inshallah everyone will finish soon! One year and 9 days in Damascus for us :)

Umm, that's absurd, it wont and cannot take that long, thats hilarious if it does though! My hubby asked his doctor and the doctors like it takes us a couple of days to send it to Paris and then from Paris it takes them another couple days until their done and then Damascus receives it. He said tops 2-3 weeks. :) And i'm sure there are other people that have re done their medicals and a month later they have received their ppr :D Everyones file varies :D

Good luck everyone. Have a good weekend xoxo

It took 2 months for ours to get to Damascus!

Maybe it's a good sign! I've come to realize that everything happens for the better. I'm sure you'll hear good news soon, but just stay positive!
