No, What I mean is that if this transfer is planned already why don't they just say so in the approval letter?Arezou said:Did we have another chance than Syria (as Iranian)?
Anyway I guess we can only wait to get an official announcement,

don't believe in that!!! ppl from Abu-Dhabi were still getting the AOR saying it will take between 6-12 months, although on the site was 27....obviously most passed the 12 months mark and counting....what's written in the letter is outdated, that's why they update the timelines every 3 monthsfaridzad said:dear friends
i think , for the reviewing and assessment and finalizing our application in Ankara, takes several months.., because first of all they must gather our information , and step by step ..
they start and work on applications, don't think as they said 7 months , it's attached to our application ...
I think after the call which received by Farid every thing is clear. We have to be ready for new challenges.sh7228 said:No, What I mean is that if this transfer is planned already why don't they just say so in the approval letter?

We can say that we are the more fortunate applicants of Damascus that ever been.aaa2012 said:In the end of the day I think we can all agree that it's the delay were more concerned about, especially for those of us who've been waiting for 9mths +
Something burning or fire here and there we have? Lol just trying to figure out what you wrote in the endArezou said:We can say that we are the more fortunate applicants of Damascus that ever been.

you figured it out correct. I meant we are the burnt generation even in our country and also in the country which process our files. Always revolutions affect our lives.!aaa2012 said:Something burning or fire here and there we have? Lol just trying to figure out what you wrote in the end
thankssss missmini :* to be honest no i can't believe 9 months have passed, it seems just like yesterday that i joined the forum and my ticker showed "damascus has received the file for 2 weeks" it is exciting, and with all the transfer news i do feel more excited actually.missmini said:thaaaaaaaaank u viviiiii!!! and so do ur posts to me happy 9 months, can u believe that 9 months passed already!!??!!!!! u r almost there, so exciting!!!! ;D :-*
You are absolutely right, I've never been more angry about this stupid process. My life, like many of you, is completely on hold waiting for that paper! And now I saw that some people are happy about the potential transfer; I don't share the same optimism since we don't know how the new visa office will treat our files. Whether they will continue where the others have left off or whether they will do more checks! Who knows! We knew from Farid about potential Iranian files but what about Syrians, Lebanese, Jordanians and other nationalities??Arezou said:you figured it out correct. And now say that :"do not speak about politic"! Is not it the politic which decide about our files? Or it is some thing else!
And also, what about our medicals, why would they ask me to send mine solely to Damascus and actually include a full paragraph on that, when they are planning to transfer files. This is very messed up and I think we should all find better more efficient ways to get answers.still waiting said:You are absolutely right, I've never been more angry about this stupid process. I don't know whether we should all call the embassy or actually go there or call MPs. Just really confused right now, feeling very helpless.
I really hope sovivi2 said:"IF" (big IF) the files get transferred it won't make any change in our background/security checks or make it longer, it is not the local visa office who does these checks, it is CSIS, so it's not like when the new visa office gets it they will send a new request to CSIS.
The only thing that might be treated different is the relationship genuineness thing, which again I believe CIC agents are specifically trained for this and they all know what they're doing. I'm pretty sure it won't be like the new officer in Ankara would say ok old officer I don't trust your opinion and I'm gonna do my own investigation! I don't know, I'm optimistic right now!
But why are you still more on the skeptic side when it comes to the transfer thing. Isn't what farid said makes it a bit more conclusive? What do you think?still waiting said:I really hope so
Oh no, I meant we haven't received any official news about this yet. I'm not talking about Farid or anyone else because of course they have heard the news themselves directly from Damascus and it does make it more conclusive of course, I'm talking about the phone lady! I mean usually news isn't considered official unless it's received in writing, in a letter or an email. So even if I talked with the phone lady myself I would still consider the news unofficial, and that's why she has told others that they are planning to send emails and letters to everyone, that's the official and 100% conclusive thing i'm talking about which eliminates my "if"s!still waiting said:But why are you still more on the skeptic side when it comes to the transfer thing.
