No my friend.
All the medicals go to Paris (centralized approach) and from there it is sent to Damascus.
Despite what arezou said I believe that medicals reach Damascus in few weeks. (not few months).

Her husband has done his second medical in November but till now the embassy has not receive the results! In the interview day they have given the green sheet of medical report to the visa officer too!
My doctor also said that it takes 3 weeks for results to reach Damascus but now i see that is different!

I just read the comment on how long it takes for the embassy to receive the medical results. Does it mean this will happen the second time as well, after the first one expires?

Should I tell my wife to go and get another one? Our file started on March 15th.

Ask her to redo it. In this way you save time. Nobody can clear that how long will it take for results to receive Damascus from Paris.

Umm, that's absurd, it wont and cannot take that long, thats hilarious if it does though! My hubby asked his doctor and the doctors like it takes us a couple of days to send it to Paris and then from Paris it takes them another couple days until their done and then Damascus receives it. He said tops 2-3 weeks. And i'm sure there are other people that have re done their medicals and a month later they have received their ppr Everyones file varies

Simply read and see what is going on other files. Of course we know that every case is different. But we have to gather information and be aware about what happening about our process.

When you want to redo your medical you can ask your doctor to give you the name of their courier and also its tracking number in this way you can use their web site and track your results till Paris.

hello miss you all we've been told that some files are beeing transferred to beirut's embassy, that's what we knew from the MP .. they said we are in the last stage .. police verification but it's been about 2 months or maybe more in this step .. does it really take that long guys !!

Do you mean your first medical or second one?
If first one, i think till now they have received yours.
As i know we can track only till Paris and then it is a internal process and we can not track it.

My Medical will be expired in Mid Feb (1 month from now). Saying at least it takes 1 month till Damascus receive my medicals, should I redo it now or should I wait till it is expired and then redo it?

Redo your medical. And save time. If you receive your PPR sooner you lose the medical cost but if you have to wait more then you save time.

If ur sending second medical. Like the green paper to the embassy do I need to put anything on the envelope other then their address and I attached letter along with green sheet inside??

yeah i read this before too, its special cases that can take long, for example if the practitioner of a certain country delays sending the papers they are delayed arriving, but dear arezou it cannot possibly take that long, i tell you from experience, when cic sets a time line, for example 13 months, and they know medicals are valid for 12 months, they know within that month they can finish everything, not EVERYONE does medicals in advance, CIC only gives you 45 days to send the receipt for the 2nd medical. there have been crazy exceptions where the medicals took a while to arrive but in those cases the embassy does it by phone, we had a person whos medicals hadnt arrived in 40 days , we got his green sheet and issued him the visa the next day without receiving his medical,we had the receipt we contacted the paris office and verified the medical, thats it, but like i said a case like that is rare

at the end of the day EXCEPTIONS can happen but that doesnt mean in ANYWAY that situation is going to repeat itself for everyone
