just checked my wife's e-case and the status has been changed to "In process", here what I click on .

We received your application for permanent residence on January 18, 2011.

We started processing your application on November 18, 2011


They asked my wife to redo her medical last Sunday, she did them October 31.....
when I login to aramex i see the doctor sent documents, are those the results? Arrived to Paris Monday Nov.21

Nov.18, 2011 was Friday....I did not know that they open Friday's lol.
anyhow when my wife went to syria to drop the green paper, she asked the secretary about the file and she was told that they are waiting for the medical results.

I have the same thing. the status is In process and its say: We received your application for permanent residence on December 15, 2010. We started processing your application on October 21, 2011. My wife redid the medical test octiber 13 so they have only one week between the 13 and the 21.

I call CIC about that and they told me this date is when someone enter in your file. They dont giv me more info. Me what I think is that this date is when Paris receive the second medical test.

Yallah nshallah we will have ppr soon. More waiting then that you die, lol

hey everyone,
u really have a great thread, with so much details and useful info it's been great reading u silently; i used to be active here many months ago, then had to take a break; now, we r almost ready to send our application too but i have an important question on the checklist guide, they ask for military service card; but in Syria there is no such card : my husband, Syrian national, fulfilled some conditions and was exempted; he didn't do the service but he does not have to do it either; but my question is, what kind of official paper do we need to notarize to show that? this is really specific to Syria since they r pretty strict with the military service...please, for the ones in the same situation, any help is greatly appreciated (even the name in arabic would help, my husband will probably understand)...Ramz, honey, what paper did ur husband show? thank u so much!!

on another note, i also want to say elf mabrooook (thousands congrats) to everyone who finished their process and have a happy new life in Canada (it would b nice to still b in touch here and let us know how the wife/husband is adapting, it's a fun experience)

finally, scarycemetary, really glad that u had a good interview, mabrook, and wow it was soo short; do u mind sharing more? were there questions abt the relationship too or just abt the re-settling plans? did they ask ur husband too about his future plans in Canada or just u the sponsor? i saw u looked over some other old threads where i posted (how to show ur re-settlement plans, sponsor ties with Canada, etc)...where those ideas helpful? i asked cuz we'll b in the same situation (sponsor residing outside Canada) and i'm trying to prepare everything as better as i can

i dont know if i can even say this but congrats anyways vivi joon haha , hey any news is good news, i know its no big deal but its good to know they are looking over your file and checking to see how complete it is, many of us havent heard anything after Mississauga, including me, but yeah , we gotta be patient right, hopefully more good news next week, its funny as soon as i came the good news starts coming out, i dont think they even need me loool

thats good brother, i mean you already did rq and they asked for medical so i think it makes sense for them to update the ecase, you are 10 so i think by 11.5 u should be done, i mean thats what it looks like right now, im thinking mid december you will get ppr

i remember a few months back i used to look at the chart and i was like WOW everyone is ahead of me, after almost 9 months im like WOW a lot of people are behind me lol, its amazing how this process takes a emotional toll on people, difficult 9 months but i gotta say this forum has been the absolute relief of my life, just being able to share whatever whenever and knowing there are tens if not hundreds or thousands of people out there in the same exact situation as me ... i gotta say it makes it that much easier, anyways the moral of this story is love u all haha good luck to all of us

I went to a Canada/US border and I landed in Canada. I just made a U-TURN, they refused me on the US border as I don't have a VISA, and that's what I need, I went back to Canadian border, there, Immigration officers were very gentle, it was easy and everything went well,
