I went to a Canada/US border and I landed in Canada. I just made a U-TURN, they refused me on the US border as I don't have a VISA, and that's what I need, I went back to Canadian border, there, Immigration officers were very gentle, it was easy and everything went well,

The person who created the doc in first place, should have access to all revisions of the chart. Go under File menu > See revision history, and you should be able to see ALL revisions of the doc from day one! You can then click on revision that looks good, and if you are happy, press the button at the top that says 'Revert to this revision'

finally, scarycemetary, really glad that u had a good interview, mabrook, and wow it was soo short; do u mind sharing more? were there questions abt the relationship too or just abt the re-settling plans? did they ask ur husband too about his future plans in Canada or just u the sponsor? i saw u looked over some other old threads where i posted (how to show ur re-settlement plans, sponsor ties with Canada, etc)...where those ideas helpful? i asked cuz we'll b in the same situation (sponsor residing outside Canada) and i'm trying to prepare everything as better as i can

I would be glad to share my interview experience! I hope that future readers will find the information useful.

They had said in the email for my husband to bring his original, valid passport, proof of income (bank statements, bank books, any proof of income, etc.), evidence to prove re-settlement in Canada (travel plans, job confirmation, lease agreement, etc.).

Since we will be living with my parents when we arrive in Canada, and my husband already has a job offer in Canada, we provided the following:
- original passport
- my parents' 2010 tax return sheet
- a letter from my parents stating that they will be taking care of us financially (signed by both parents)
- my husband's bank booklet
- my bank account statements
- a letter from myself saying why I was unable to provide financial proof...I was in school, living with my parents, etc.
- my husband's job offer and job acceptance letter
- emails from my parents and myself from the time I have been in Lebanon saying things about how we hope to be home soon, we miss each other, etc.
- we reserved tickets for Dec. 22 so we provided those as well
- photocopy of my husband's recent medical results

We went to consulate here in Beirut, I had to wait outside in the waiting area while my husband went inside to wait for his interview. He was called in and they asked him only things about our relationship. How did we meet, when did we meet, why did we marry young, just the normal relationship questions. They then called me in where I was also asked the same questions as my husband about our relationship (my husband was not in the room at this time, only myself and the interviewer) and I was also asked how we will support ourselves when we are there. I was asked about my parents' work as well as where my husband will be working when we arrive. I was asked what I will be doing when we arrive in Canada, and what our future plans are.

At the end of the interview, he told me that he had no concerns and he would pass all of the information along to Damascus. He also said that they just have to do the security check and our application is complete

Just as a note...I asked the interviewer about the medical and when we should send in the green sheet. He said they don't really care about the green sheet, they really just want the results that the doctor sends them. He said the green sheet is just like a proof that you did it, and as long as you send in a copy (readable, clear) then you don't have to worry about it.

I posted above what they had asked in our interview...hopefully it helps! Has your medical already expired? If it has, re-do it even though they haven't asked. It will save you 1 month. Plus (I see by your flag, your interview I would assume is in Beirut?) you can just give them the green sheet at the consulate in Beirut and it will be added to your file directly.

I totally agree with vivi, we dont need everyone to have access to the chart so this doesn't happen again.

Honestly what has happened to the chart and my name and for many of us as well
this thread can hold us all it is like a grandma house where everyone is invited to visit/ share/ relief their stress/ cry/ laugh and wait until the final call for visa that has been said which means you visit here and share but dont mess up the chart pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
we have so far been named the best thread (look what page we are now at) not because I started this but we are like brothers and sisters or cousins if you prefer that, nagz as many others as well has been keeping the list up to date for our best interest so please try to share your info and benefit and help others with correct info and positive attitude and the point is dont mess up with the chart please.
