Hello everybody,

well, believe it or not... my husband got his PASSPORT REQUEST TODAY!!!! ;D
Im surprised myself, I thought it would take a longer time to get it. Maybe its because he is already here in Canada.
Now, we dunno if he should go to Damascus to take it or send his passport by courrier and wait here.
I hope that some others of you will have good news soon!!

I think we are prepared. We have all the papers and we even have refundable tickets to show that we want to go before Christmas. Plus I don't think they can refuse an application due to money.

No PR today are they working in Damascus today
My thoughts only: if there are interviews in Lebanon this week that mean the visa officer is on his way there today which mean we have to wait one more week for some good news from damascus which mean the good news will be coming from beirut visa office this coming week, so come on applicants from lebanon get ready for your visas

I thought it would be a good idea to add a column to our chart stating whether or not the applicant had an interview. Before changing it I wanted to see what you guys think. That way it can help those in the future to ask questions to a specific user etc. Since my husband has an interview on Thursday I wanted to ask some who have had experience, but not sure of who to ask.

First good luck on your interview.
The only two people who had interviews from this forum were Sara_az and Yaya_Marei. They got PPR the same day and are not active in the forum anymore. Since interviews in Damascus are not that often I don't think there's a need for that column. So far it has been just you and the other two I mentioned.

Yes the interview is for sponsorship. It's in Beirut because when we applied we chose Beirut as the place of communication. Good luck to you! Have you heard anything from immigration?
