Yes the interview is for sponsorship. It's in Beirut because when we applied we chose Beirut as the place of communication. Good luck to you! Have you heard anything from immigration?

no dear i heard nthg since may. in may i sent them an email requesting my fil numb, they were kind and replied. but since that time NOTHING! not even the RQ, did u get it by the way??
1 month ago i sent them an email telling them that my medical expired, and still nthg, so i redid it and sent the green sheet 5 days ago... i'm hoping to hear sthg, anthg @ all, just a sign that says they didn't totally 4get bout me :-X

Yes we got the RQ back in August...then a few days they called and emailed about the interview. I know it's hard waiting for them to just tell you anything, but if it makes you feel better they only contacted us twice - once for the RQ, police check and army check, and then for the interview. Even after all the emails I sent them and even going to the consulate here in Beirut, calling them, everything and they didn't tell us anything. Just be patient. They're working on your file and will tell you when they're done. You might be one of those ones where you get the RQ and then a month later you get PPR! Inshallah

i think u're right...some people get the RQ and the PPR after one or 2 weeks...

Im tired of waiting ...i stay home all day im in bed its been a week ....i dont wanna wait anymore ...do u think we will be lucky enough like "ya Libnan" you and I are a month apart and you are 3 weeks apart from Ya libnan but did u get RQ ? i did not no one has been getting RQ since september ..i am surpised are they not requesting them anymore ? what is the situation ??

Hey Ramz,
I know how you feel i really hope we are lucky enough to have only 8 mths! I am just 8 days after yalibnan, it gave me so much hope to have someone so close to me get PPR! I think that's what gets me through this process... hope. we haven't got RQ yet. they asked us for final payment back in June and that's it. they haven't even replied to our email from 6 weeks ago! I think it would be easier to wait if we could atleast know what exact stage our application is in. if I had a date I could count down to I think itd be easier. get a good nights sleep and treat yourself to something fun tomorrow
