btw to answer the question that we were all wondering... on the letter he got it said he has 30 days to pick up his visa. even tho the visa doesn't expire till august 2012

thanks for the answers! and wow, i thought the visa would expire in 2 months! Btw, tell him to bring some olives with him I always wonder how excited people that got their visas would feel on a plane! I would be so nervous! Hope the weather is good when he flys in!

I was wondering if you have sent a case specific enquiry during the process!

we actually had 2 interviews and it was at the lastttt step of processing after the file is complete so if u pass the interview they give u the visa. but it's really rare to be called for an interview

Oh really? So right after your spouse has the interview do they tell you if you have received the visa? Since I know they only really do interviews if they have doubts that the relationship is genuine...

Hi Everyone

My husband's medicals expire in the middle of November. We've gotten the RQ and we sent in an updated police check back in August. My question is, should we wait until the medicals expire to redo them? Or should we just redo them now and hold on to the paper until they ask for it (assuming we haven't gotten the visa before they expire)? I've been reading your comments and have gotten mixed ideas...anyone have any suggestions/past experiences?

most of us here waited our med to expire and we redid it so don't rush it they might call and ask you to come and take your visa before it expires.

someone asked about what to bring to the medical exam (i can't remember who) but i've been told to bring the appendice C and fill it + 5 photos whick should be as they describe it in the manual of parrainage, and a photocopy of the passeport, i did them @ hopital rizk by the way...

no I didn't the only time I emailed them is to ask more info abt an email
they had sent me, once I emailed to see f they had received documents and the last time was for a change of adress but they never replied to that one, they still updated the adress tho

that was the first time second time is different because you now have a file number all they asked my husband to bring was the file number and pics

On the letter I received from Mississauaga in April it only had the Client ID# and Kit ID#...what does the file number look like; is it an F# with a whole bunch of zeros and then a whole bunch of numbers?
