i knoooooow me too i was so shocked i thought i read wrong at the beginning....i thought that those who waited the longest will b given priority and the others will b put aside until the line empties....and yeah i noticed too everything u said!!!! it is really shocking....they should also think how much money they will loose from taxes, etc if those Canadians who cannot bring their close families anymore would leave Canada to b with their families....anyway these changes come slowly hope we will all be done by then have a sunny day!!A+M said:OH MY GOODNESS!! This is devastating! 300 000 people getting their applications returned after 4 years of waiting! and this quote is scary
"The applications being returned are currently only from the FSW program. No additional plans have yet been announced to address backlogs in other immigration categories."
Is family class next?? it does not make any sense that people who waited so long get theirs returned and someone who applied a few mths ago is still in process. Now our VOs will be busy returning files instead of processing files!! WOW! I am shocked! I read an article a few weeks ago that suggested they are considering getting rid of spousal sponsorship because it cost the government 16billion/ year to bring in spouses that do not necessarily have and skills to join the work force. I didn't think they would actually do it but this article shows they will stop at nothing those poor applicants
