:) hey everyone, how's the weekend going....
I know im so quiet these days, i dont know how to feel anymore...I feel that my brain is numb and just tired of thinking. The days are not passing by fast enough and this month is just dragging on. I know i am always the one telling everyone to keep smiling :) and stay +++ but today i feel down...i dont know why and what is wrong with me...but nshallah something will happen in March.

The truth is we waited for too long...we are loosing our patience

***IMPORTANT MESSAGE***

ok, this message is for everybody that is sponsoring their SYRIAN partner and that have had their application sent to AMMAN, JORDAN.

your files have NOT yet "completly" arrived to AMMAN, they are still IN TRANSIT until MARCH. HOPEFULLY they're going to be fully arrived to AMMAN in the beginning of March and they will start processing them.

My deputy told me this information yesterday.

goodluck to us all and stay strong.

Hi Yahya,

Is this only for Syrian applicants?

Where did that info come from?

Thanks for the update.

its amazing how unorganized some visa offices seem to be, almost like 10 days ago i was able to get information about the ankara office and it took me like 5 6 hours, 10 days later i got in touch with my contact and it seems not only he couldnt figure out whats going on in beirut but they dont know either, no no im not saying its bad news or anything but i dont get how canadian visa offices can be so different in organization and processing procedures, i mean india and china for example, the largest populations in the world with the highest immigration rate have a combined processing time of 11 months, 5 for beijing and 6 for new delhi, and then damascus takes 9(before the craziness) it seems they dont want middle easterns in canada lool

??? oh maaaan. im ready to pull my hair i swear... so we have to wait till March until they start processing files and then what????
Another 2 months so they can get organized, and then God knows how long after that and if medical gets expired start waiting another few months....I cant believe this.
THIS IS CRAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

of course, because they have a lot more applications but it just seems visa offices in middle eastern countries are a mess in general, i dont know why , i guess one reason is because the foreign affairs department doesnt invest much money in some countries, for example the equipment we had in the damascus office were horrible, i felt like it was 1998 all over again lol

it's totally true, they dont invest a lot of money in these countries....and thats why we end up paying the price for their misorganized offices and the laid back officers and not enough training. But then you know something Canada is no better. They had cut off 10% of their workers so they can save their economy which I understand, but they shouldnt take it away from the immigration sector.

no no dont worry lello, i didnt mention that as a negative thing, its not like its the first time they are opening their doors, theyve been doing this for years, im sure they will pull together and get the files processed as fast as they usually do , but for us (damascus applicants) since we already lost 1 month and we were already behind to start with due to protests and stuff it makes us impatient, i dont think ANYONE in the future will go through what we all went through, it was kind of our bad luck sponsoring in a hectic period, but hey this is how i look at it, We've come THIS FAR, it cant get worse than this, when you are already on the ground you cant fall down again, so their is no way but up right, so we just have to push through these last weeks of our process

;D I love ur positivness Sohrab .....ur totally right, it was our bad luck to sponsor in the worst period ever...Good luck for those who are just starting the journey...But for us...its been a loooong time and its time for some miracle to come our way...or a TSUNAMI heheheh like I mentioned last time
