ok guys, she told him because we are from two different nationalities, they will take all the time they need to work on it, but if we don't have any problem, they can't postpone it till after my medical expires. so i should get it before 5 may.

but I dont get what is the difference if you are or not from the same nationality. doesn`t mean your marriage is not genuine

my medical is expired since february 22 2011 and still they didnt send me any e-mail asking to redo my medical or whatsoever ,i called my lawyer and asked him if i have to retake the medical test he told me to wait untill the embassy sends me an e-mail requesting it .i dont know why the cic even bothers to make an application status checker program if the status will stay (in process) from the begenning till the end and not giving a specific explanation about our applications .anyway i wish luck for everyone and i hope we get some news soon .

Another newbie joining your so joyful thread , I've been following this thread for quite sometime now but i don't know why i didn't get around joining ,
Anyways i don't have much to complain since my process literally just started but im sure soon ill have plenty to complain about haha,
anyways my time line so far is

Received in Mississauga- 14-01-2011
Transferred to Syria - 16-02-2011
Processing started in Damascus - 01-03-2011


I just Checked AAM7's list and it looks like I'm the FIRST person to send the file in 2011 ... GOD HELP ME lol

Like mentioned before Ive been following this thread for a while now and well since i read about all the different situations and all it helped me make up my mind, i just back to Canada in June of 2010 after spending a year in Iran and we decided the next trip would be for her coming to Ottawa but thanks to the help of this thread there is no way I'm waiting so a trip back home to see my wife even for a couple weeks is a definite thing! ill probably wait till after the RQ because if i go before its just going to make the dates all confusing

Ironic really, i work for immigration Canada and now I'm dependent on them .... i just want to tell all of you, worrying,stress,frustration... does nothing , it just ruins your mood and your day... When it comes to immigration and things like sponsorship and since its so DELICATE after the incidents following 9/11 the procedures and the guidelines have changed dramatically but that doesn't mean you should be sad ... i mean its normal to miss your significant other, i miss my wife like crazy and I'm going back because of it but while I'm here, while I'm waiting for the files to go through and the processing to take place i just think about the after not the present since that's all that matters, I think about after the PP request .
one more thing i wanted to mention is that, when it comes to immigration there is no such thing as PRIORITY, CASE BY CASE its different, a person can get their visa in 3 months, another will wait 1 year, one will apply in march and get their RQ in April the other in September... Every case is UNIQUE and its not COMPARABLE.. although this forum is made to compare times and such you should never lose hope just because it took Mr X or Mrs Y 6 months or 14 months, instead of comparing your self to the longest time keep in mind you can be that 4 month person ... at the end of the day its a WAITING GAME.......

i am a positive person but i am getting disapointed because as u told this is a waiting game..but veryyyy difficult;(although my husband and i are living with eachother but he has to come back to canada less than 20 days...;(seperation is too difficult that u think specialy for me and my husband becuase we have to prepare for our exams hardly so we need eachother to push ourself...studing abd srtess of the exam is one side stress of being separate is on the other side...
anyway...i wishhhh for everyone to pass this game successfully
