hello, it's been 13 months that my husband and I are waiting for the paper. He has an interview on Jan. 9 and they asked to bring his passport with him. I dont know what to do because it is not going very well in Syria at this time so I send an email to ask if he can make a interview in Lebanon but I know they take a lot of time to respond. my question is what do u think guys ? is it positive that they ask him to come with his passport? oh and something else the medical test was expired 4 month ago and they didn't ask him to redo it he redo it by himself.. please if someone know about this help me

hi, I think you can ask for visiting visa for her, I read that in cic that posseble to visit canada while they still process her file. but I think she should back and take the ppr from syria office. Allah with her

Ya Allah 13 month , my application in process since 11 month.
But I think you can call on them or send an emergency email, because they ask canadian to leave syria now.
I keep thinking If they call on me to go to syria I am affread to go there.

sinashams, yeah, lele is right; try to get a visit visa for her; it's difficult and they might reject it but explain them the situation, maybe it will work

damascus is safe dont worry its other cities hours away that are a danger zone dont worry.to bring the passport is very good news...he should know r address in canada bu heart and wll be asked questions abt ur relationship.

Dear Friend,
Let your husband to go Damascus for his interview. We hear in news that Damascus is still safe. They asked him to bring his passport so it is a positive point. He has to redo his medical if it is expired because as you know for entering Canada he need valid medical.

Yes, the others are right, you can try for a visitor visa BUT the processing time for that out of Tehran is 93 days. We thought about doing that for my husband but it's such a long wait we just hope that he will be here before then. but if u r just starting the process it might be a good idea.

ya arezo at least hear somebody feels with us because theyre the same.my husband redid his medical yesterday and the doctor named jaber told him everybody does the medical twice,unless you get lucky before it expires.he took 2pictures,passport,file#and 200dollars.the doctor gave him a green sheet,should he mail it or keep it with him until they ask for it?A+M have patience,i have 5 kids,i know what your going through alone.why do they keep people married for16years that long?not geniune?haha. fatil29 hang on,your probably going to get ppr in jan.i hope my husband gets it on the 13months!not longer!ya rab.

my wife got me thinking about this whole second medical thing, she said when she did her medical a few days ago the doctor told her to send the green sheet, im not in the department here in the embassy so im clueless

I myself redid my medical but I kept the green sheet by myself. I think they have my name and Paris will forward my results with my name to Damascus too. So I want to wait them to ask me. Then I can email the green sheet or send by TNT.
I am not sure about police clearance. Did your wife renew her police clearance too?

yeah to be honest i dont think it even makes a difference, they will recieve the medical anyway, they just want proof that you were physically there doing it, its for medical fraud, thats it and as you said even tnt , you send it max 2 days it will arrive in syria, so yeah i guess ill wait for them to ask, im almost at 10 months now so yeah it should be anytime soon
yeah i told her to do it i mean not only it doesnt cost much but thats the one that takes like 10 days , i dont want her file to be delayed for a stupid police +10 clearance
