Here is what I am wondering are they only talking about Syrians who can get their visa's so quickly cause I don't know if anyone so the news in Iraq today 60 died in car bombings around the city. Are Iraqi's an exception or no :?

as far as i know Iraqui's have been a priority for a year now it even says so on CIC but in term of the bulleting that came out it says (notice- Siuation In Syria ) non canadians married to canadians who are in syria who are syrians or live there i guess have a priority . there is no bulleting about IRAQ but i know it has been a piority way before Syria.if the person Lives in IRAQ i guess they can try to contact the embassy

Thank you sweetheart i greatly appreciate the support , my husband was living in the most dangerous city in syria and he was house bound , bombs , gun shots and such were an everyday thing and going out of the house was not a possibility , so thank god for this bulleting wich allowed people like my husband to come home to their wifes and husbands , i was constantly living in fear and ended up with a major depression ...i dont wish this upon my worst enemy , so this is WHY syrians have been preoritized Iraqi's in syria as well , and AREZOU the pressure you are under is not comparable to the danger they are living under i know how hard it is and how much u wanna be with ur husband but imagine that feeling combined with fear of loosing that loved one , in this case then yes Syrians and residents of syria are and should be the priority .

you are my friend and i am so happy for you and more more happy for your hubby.
I think there was a misunderstanding. I mean if they can finalize a file in 5 day so why we have to wait so long time. It shows that they have enough possibilities to do it. So why they wait till every thing go so worse and then do some thing. But at least i thank God that they do this and could save people!

They gave a SOS email. Write them and ask. Maybe there is a solution for Iraqis too.

Thx Arezou, I hope he is back home soon too! It is really hard, but I think it's harder on my husband because he has missed 13 months so far from our kids lives. Our youngest was only 1.5 years old when he left and didn't even talk yet and now talks to him on the phone. He misses them so much and of course they are going crazy waiting for him! Everyone's situation is hard in different ways. And I agree the more positive we send to Damascus , the mire positive we will see coming from them We are the same timeline, have you redone meds yet? Are yours close to expiring?

Mine expired in November this year but i redid it in October. But i kept the green sheet by myself and waiting for them to ask.

Thanks a lot. I did read the site and they have also been given priority I just hope things don't go back to how bad they were in 2007 for Iraq, although today with the car bombings it doesn't look that way.
