it really feels bad when you come to check the forum and there's posts that you understand nothing from them. i mean like a few words is ok, but when its a whole post. not all of us know arabic here. especially that when you see a word such as "visitor visa" and you really like to know what the post is about but you just can't!

i know it is hard man, but what can we do?. i wish this suffering ends very shortly for all of us...the thing is that i can not understand why don't they help us reunite with our beloved ones. All they say is ur file is in queue, how big is this ***** queue.

9 months for me felt like 10 years. Whenever the phone rings, I think it is the embassy. I get dreams about the visa when I sleep. When I wake up I check my wife's email and my email hoping there is an email from the embassy. This process is always on my mind. It is pure torture.

No one is saying dont do security and background checks. I personally want them to do that. Just hire more visa officers to process applications faster. Some people dies while waiting.

I hope they put better procedures in place. Also, i hope visa officers understands what we are going through and get their ****************** to work .

haha yeah our thread is growing so fast! but we're still not growing as fast as the islamabad thread. everyday they add like 30-40 pages to their thread, and you know what, they give each other so many +1 ratings all the time! i'm jealous! lol!

My MP just called me and said she received an update from Damascus. The file was received January 18, and it is in queue . I like that, as if I dont know this...Seriously, they need to do something about this lengthy process.

They tell you the stuff you already know.

They havent contacted me since I sent damascus that email saying that they may not receive info on my behalf.. I guess they got the message and even tho damascus didnt reply to me I guess they delivered the msg. Thats a good sign atleast
