13 months is defenitely not the maximum time. You can say that MOST applications are done within this time preiod. Tomorrow will be exactly 13 months since my file reached damascus and we are still waiting for a response. According to my MP, review on our file is complete but I am surprised that the embassy didnt inform us or say anything yet. Does any one know what happens after the review is complete ?

did your mp tell you they'd be contacting the embassy to see what's going on ? since it's been 13 months for you

i was browsing the other forums I saw this man who posted he's been in the process of sponsoring his wife since last november and still didn't get the visa and now shes diagnosed with cancer. so sad.... it's crazy how so many things can happen during a year...

THis is what my MP told me 2 weeks ago. She told me to contact her again if I dont hear anything by the end of oct, which would be 14 months. She told me that she is not allowed to communute directly with the embassy, rather she does through Ottawa.
