this process literally ruined my life I should've said yes to moving to Africa and to hell with this crappy process.

i second that emotion ..

eh wallah ...sometimes this whole process makes me wonder if its really worth the wait....ahhhhhh I wish inshallah it goes by fast for us all....Damascus processing time 13 months is CRAZYYYYYYY :(:(

what about me guys all i get, ur background still in check, it's taking so much long... i have been waiting 11 month.. nchulah 2arabet ya rab

Inchallah ya rabb!! When did you apply?? did they request any additional documents during the process?

i applied 11 month ago and they start processing my application in NOV 8 2010.. and after a month they requested me some documents like FBI and some stuff and i send everything they need to damscus.. and till now im waiting, i guess its coming soon..

Hopefully you will hear something soon...do you think the delay is due to the situation happening in Syria now?? Good Luck... Now the processing time is minimum 13 months...ahhhhh :(

nchullah everyone will hear something soon, No i dont think the delay is due to the situation in syria, god by the end of this month i will be one more month from the biggest moment...otherwise i have to wait more and more and more..

it's strange, i've been expecting so many PPR today, i guess we'll wait 4 next week.pfffff

btw they updated my personal e-case saying they forwarded my file to MICC for approval (quebec) on nov 9th 2010 and that they had started working on my file on my file on november 9th? thing I already knew (abt the micc) since I had received the letters back then . This piece of information never showed up on e-case though it's the first time I ever see it. I don't know why they bothered adding it after almost 1 year of processing...

Guys,
i am thinking of what is being said in this forum if it is worth it or not, well for the time we wait months and months, it is not worth it , we all run and dream of coming to Canada which is a great country but int he other hand we leave our parents and lovedones back home and we come here , a day pass by like a blink of an eye, with us running from home to work to groceries etc... add to that around 40 % tax is taken from the salary....so isi it worth it, there is a lot of pros and cons and endless conversation regarding that matter...but what i realize in life there is nothing more important than family gatherting and being beside the one who you love (parents, wife , children, etc..)
i really hope they do something about that process, and wish you all to have more patience and be reuinited with ur wife/husband,,
just wanted to share some thoughts,
good luck to all
