Please be advised that your spouse's application is pending to received a copy of her Iraqi Nationality certificate with translation.

I brought you the required papers and documents (translated) you asked me on 13-06-2011 at the Canadian embassy in Damascus.

Dear Guys

Yesterday my lawyer sent for me the number of the sponsorship from my wife to me, he said my file is already in the Canadian embassy in Damascus, when i checked the CIC site, it shows that my file was sent on 3 MAY 2011 BUT MY LAWYER DIDN'T BOTHER TO INFORM ME, SO IT IS 5 MONTHS AGO, what should be done now?
1: should i ask them to transfer my file to Lebanon?
2: should i wait for them to call me? if yes when should this happen?
3: will they ask me to make new medical tests because the first one was done more than one year ago?
4: does this mean that i am half way to join my wife or still the journey is still in its beginning?

the embassy in Lebanon doesn't take care of spousal sponsorships . yes she will probably have to undergo a new medical when they request it. why don't you email the embassy yourself and ask them whn they started processing you file? I'm sorry for you but I think your lawyer is doing a bad job

hi guyss i'm still happy about mohammad, and i'm hitting my 8th month in 2 days. besides, i looked at the chart and noticed that there aren't too much people left before me, it gave me hope. also i noticed that no one received PPR in august not even in 2010, which means all the delays was caused by their vacation...
let's hope that all the people in red get their PPR before the end of semtember. Btw do they only send ppr in wednesdays?? ???

Yes indeed he is doing a bad job, i am really well confused about all what he has done for my file, i sent him my papers on 10 January 2010, so it is 20 month ago, and until yesterday i told him to send me a copy of the acceptance that we received because he said that we are waiting for the CSQ, and instead he told me that my file has been sent to Damascus to be finalized, beleive me when i say that i do not know what is the truth between all these lies.
Some friends told me that we i shall receive the CSQ 3 weeks after the acceptance and now it is more than 3 months and still nothing, do you think the Canadian embassy in Damascus will send for me the Certificat de Selection?
As for the time, how long do you think i must wait for my file to be finalized in the embassy in Damascus?
