apparently this a good sign nagz! i've seen people say in other threads whenever this happens they hear something from the visa office in a few days! actually this is a popular talk in other threads and in fact does have a separate thread too! lol! anyway nagz independent of the address disappearing whatever it is, good news is on its way for you very soon.

I see your application's process has started abourt 3 weeks before mine. Have you received any confirmation email or file number from Damascus regarding your application and if you did, when? I haven't received anything yet; and the only thing it says on e-cas is "Application received".

They didn't send me anything. My husband sent them an email after 1 month of the file's transfer to Damascus asking if the application has a file number or not, which they replied giving the file number in the subject of their email.
The e-cas is just "application received" and apparently it stays like this forever! lol! Don't worry about e-cas, its unreliable!

when it`s rejected it's because the mailbox is full. I sent them an email yesterday and it went through !

My husband's address is also gone. The last 6 wks or so it's been changed between his address, our lawyers address and no address...... weird!
