guys i was so happy today i got to work, everyone had decorated my desk because it's my last day before my trip, they gave me a greeting card for my wedding and a gift certificate at linen chest so i can buy stuff for my house. it's nice to see that you have people that care around you

this is a very good news for everyone. it's good news for files in progress in damascus because it will offload some tasks so the officers can focus on the current load.

it's good for you and new applicants like me because the ottawa office has a reputation to process cases much faster.

our sponsor application was approved and sent to Damascus today. They informed us by email a couple of hours ago.

will i get another communication from damscus once it's received by them?

i didn't receive any confirmation from Damascus. so i sent them an email after waiting for 3 months asking if they got my files, and they replied saying they are working on it, and they gave me my file number so i can check in what stage they are in the cic site (even though the status remains the same in the site).
