normally after 2 weeks they start processing the case, but it doesn't really matter.the most important thing is the duration of process that these days takes too long.
now a days it takes 9 or 10 months,it's not a beautiful world but welcome to my world.
just waiting ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Guys,

I got the file number by E-mail.
I checked the e-Cas, the address is correct. however, as I said we have not received anything by mail even the file number.

The processing of my wife's file has been started in Dec 21; however, yet after close to five months we have not received any notice about the RQ form.
Is it normal?

If you read the comments here you noticed that it takes 8-10 months for finalize the case.
i got the form via e-mail and mail too ,they will send it to you sooner or later don't worry .
just try to be relax .

Is "receiving the file" the same as "starting to process the file"? Or no?

Dear friends,

who can help me with this matter,
when i'm checkin by e-case the status of my case it shows in process and it says we start processing your case since 27th of july ,
i send an e-mail 2 months a go to embassy for checking the processing time of my case and they answered me that they recived my case 13th of july and told me wait for processing time on the website, on the website, about the processing times they explain this duration start the date that we recived your application.
I see in this forum ,on the table, you count processing times from the date they start process,
now i want to know if i wouldn't get ppr e-mail from the embassy until this thursday (10 months after they recieved the case),should i sent them an enquiry or wait until 27th of may?
does any body sent them an enquiry after finished processing times?

Comwave is also a really good company for longdistance calls. I pay 9.9 cents to lebanon and 17 cents lebanon mobile.. cheaper than any other company..

Yes it does at the bottom lol fiouf!! Mailing things in Lebanon is so much more complicated than in Canada.. Lol

yes its the same mail adress actually it is the adress which I usually send the courier to:

Oh ok then that's good I was worried for a bit. Damascus doesn't send you anything to let you know they have received anything right ?

actually they mention this on their website that they don't sent recipient notification.
but I believe they must do this in the current case i mean the unfortunate situation in Syria , because last week i sent some papers to the embassy by courier "DHL" and the officer there told me that it is the company policy nowadays due to the current situation in Syria to inform me that they can't assure the delivery of the courier , but i had no other choice so i decided to send them anyways!!!!!!!!!

I understand what you mean. I really hope they change their ways atleast for this particular time.. Hope everyones stuff get their safe cause it's basically our life that's being put on hold.. Every day that it takes longer to get there the visa is probably delayed by a month or 2.
