Let's be positive everyone. One way or another they WILL eventually send out PPR 's . It's just a matter of time. It's our right to have our loved ones with us in Canada.

I actually emailed them a week ago and explained the bad economy, prices, ... very briefly .

As other members recommended , we should all email them from time to time , so to bring to their faces the spousal cases .

cheers and hope to see a rainstorm of PPR's before November ends.

Mehdi jan believe it or not they don't give a shiit about any person, they have duty 2 complete the applicants cases and finalize them, that's it period. they don't care about what is happening inside iran or outside iran. they simply follow what Canadian immigration minster wants them to do, specialty now with more strict rules about that f.k security thing.

I 'm sure there are nice officers up there as well, they are after all human and free to think and decide for themselves but not beyond regulations, and I guess that's why some cases get finalized faster than others.
I guess some officers overlook area's and get the cases over with quickly.

mehdi jan unless there is only one officer processing all our files...its just unlikely that this is random...since oct i think we have only had 1 or 2 ppr...im not sure what is going on...i know we can do nothing except wait...still 9 business days left till the end of november...

I am not sure but I think they are different terminologies for the same process. In the GCMS notes it says "Security Screening" but in the email I got from the embassy , they called it "Background Check".
