Definitely something is wrong. I do not think they issue any. They issue students visa every week. So, I think they have reached the cap for this year. This is why they are really slow (if not stopped). We really need to know that if it is the case. Giving false hope is really harmful.

A quota is a limit, a maximum. A target is a goal, a minimum. Each immigration program, in each visa office, has a target. These numbers are posted quaterly. Quotas are somehow imposed by the limited resources visa offices and Immigration Canada are facing, hence the many backlogs everywhere.

At the moment, visa offices are probably very busy with the processing of student visas because of the new session starting in January. Students must get their visa on time. Priorities change depending on the situation.

I think we should all pitch in and rent a plane lol then go down to Ankara and see why are files are stuck there and no ppr's are being issued fix the issue lol then we can all go to Iran see our loved ones, then we can all come back inshala all together with our loved ones that would be a dream come true....I know how you feel Niloo I'm sick and tired of living like this... it is unbearable but inshala soon we will see some good news

unfortunately our officer in charge of updating the chart is MIA (missing in action) since she FORTUNATELY got her visa and is enjoying her husband's company I'm gonna see if I can access the chart since I'm on this forum 27/7 and can take care of updating the chart.
